What You've Been Asking About
What is the benefit of in-home physio vs going to a clinic?
- Convenience – Saves time and effort, particularly helpful to individuals with limited mobility or transportation challenges
- Personalized Attention & Home-Specific Rehabilitation – Enables your therapist to give you their undivided attention. Provide more personalized recommendations on home exercises, ergonomic adjustments, and assistive devices that suit your home, making it easier to integrate therapy into your daily life
- Comfort & confidentiality – Reduces anxiety and stress associated with visiting a clinic, creating a more relaxed and positive mindset to promote healing and recovery. Offers increased privacy for individuals who prefer a more discretion with their medical concerns or those who feel uncomfortable exercising in a public setting
Do I need a referral?
No referral is required to access physiotherapy services
Do you bring all the supplies and equipment?
Yes! Everything that is required to deliver high quality treatments will be brought to your home, including the treatment bed!
Do you do direct bill my health fund?
Unfortunately, we currently do not offer this. However, we will provide you with a detailed receipt which includes all the information required for you to submit to your health fund claim.
Is Medicare accepted?
Those with an EPC (GP care plan) can claim a portion of your cost
What types of payment is accepted?
Payment is requested via E-transfer, PayID or cash
What is your cancellation policy?
We require 48 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Our goal is to provide quality services to all clients in a timely manner and providing us with sufficient notice of a cancellation allows those who require treatment to take the opportunity.
What to expect on your initial visit
On your first visit, our physiotherapist will come to your home and begin with a conversation to get to know you, your needs, your issues and problems.
They will then complete a physical assessment and determine your strengths and limitations. This may include an internal examination for pelvic floor conditions if required. You will then be prescribed a personalized exercise program and given education to improve your condition.
